Camden Community Connectors
A project designed to empower older people (60+) living in Camden to reconnect with their communities. Our aim is to connect older people with activities of interest and for them to meet others to socialise with.
We can help an older person to:
- Address low-level practical barriers which prevent them from being able to independently access community activities.
- Develop the confidence to independently be able to access community activities.
- Link up with others in their community who share their interests.
- Connect up with other support services in Camden.
We arrange a visit at home or at a community venue, where we can talk through possibilities and the best ways that we can help an older person go out and meet other people. We’ll also provide support for an older person to overcome any barriers or worries they may have about going out. We are based in your community and are already helping people like you.
