As we enter our third Covid lockdown, the team at QCCA wanted to send everyone our best wishes for 2021.
Last year wasn't easy for anyone and this year is starting off with its own difficulties.
At QCCA, we've had to put almost all of our usual services on hold - not once, but three times.
But if Covid has shown us anything, it's the power of our community to come together and innovate.
We've launched the borough's largest emergency food initiative and a new advice and guidance service. Since first lockdown, we've distributed 3500 food parcels, nearly 25,000 hot meals and offered telephone befriending to around 100 people.
We couldn't have done it without the dedication of all our volunteers, the support of community and faith leaders, the generosity of our funders and the kind words and good humour we so often get from our members.
So thank you, everyone.
Only our front reception will be open to the public during lockdown, between 11am - 2pm .
We strongly urge you not to come unless you have an appointment.
However Lockdown Lunch is a drop-by service. Everyone is welcome between 1pm - 2pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
