Volunteering Opportunities
Queen's Crescent Community Association (QCCA) is a great place to be a volunteer. There are opportunities to work with young people, teenagers and older members of the community. Befriend, play sport or help with homework - whatever you chose to do, you'll be supported by our caring staff and DBS checked
Position: Assistant, mother-and-child multi-sports sessions.
Place: The Dome youth centre, Queen's Crescent Community Association, NW5
Hours: Wednesdays 5pm-6.30pm

Job Description: This is a fantastic opportunity to look after primary-school-age children, allowing mums to take exercise. You'll need to be fairly fit because you'll be helping a member of QCCA staff at one end of the Dome, while their mothers do Zumba and badminton at the other. A full-on 90 minutes that's always fun and rewarding.
Position: Befriender, QCCA's 'Forever Young' programme.
Place: Queen's Crescent Community Association, Ashdown Crescent, NW5
Hours: An hour a week.

Job Description: QCCA has a full programme of activities for its older members and is looking for volunteers who want to become a 'friend' to one of the users. You'll be paired according to interests, so you should always have something to talk about. There's also support and training with other befrienders, so that you can share your experiences and get to know new people.
